Newsletter

What is the newsletter?

The ThyssenKrupp AG newsletter is a free information service for you. The newsletter provides information via e-mail about the current business situation of the Group as a whole, as well as in the segments and individual companies of the Group. The trade press section reports on the latest technical developments.

As a newsletter subscriber, you can select the subject areas you would like to be informed about, e.g. financial dates, ad-hoc statements affecting the stock price, information about sectors such as plant construction, the chemical industry, shipbuilding, etc..

How often is it sent?

The ThyssenKrupp AG newsletter is sent with every new press release, meaning that you always receive up-to-date information. You can manage the number of newsletters you receive via the selection of subject areas you have subscribed to.

What is the difference between the text and HTML versions?

The text version of the newsletter simply contains text without any formatting. In addition to text markups (bold/colored text, lists, etc.), the HTML version also offers images and has a similar layout to a web page. Due to the images and additional formatting details, the HTML version is always somewhat larger than the text version.

Some mail programs and web mail systems cannot display HTML mails. HTML mails are blocked in some company networks for security reasons. If you are subject to such restrictions, you should subscribe to the text version.

You can change your selection at any time subsequently.

How do I subscribe to the newsletter?

  1. First select the subject areas you would like to be informed about via the newsletter. You can change these settings at any time subsequently.
  2. Now select the desired format and language and enter your e-mail address to which the newsletter should be sent; then submit the form.
  3. You will receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link and your access data. Open this link in your browser to activate your subscription.

How should I configure my SPAM filter so that the newsletter does not get classified as SPAM?

If our newsletter is classified as SPAM (SPAM = undesired e-mail) by your local e-mail program or web mail system, (e.g. GMX), you generally have two opportunities to change this:

  • The mail program often offers the option "Do not treat as SPAM" for each e-mail which has been classified as such; this may be a link or a button. You will also see this option if you click on the e-mail with the right mouse button. Once you have selected the "Do not treat as SPAM" option, the e-mail will be moved to your normal inbox. In addition, the system will "note" your decision and will not longer treat the ThyssenKrupp AG newsletter as SPAM.
  • You have the option of creating filters for your inbox. For example, you can block mails from certain senders or move mails from certain senders immediately into a directory of your choice. In addition, it is possible to create a "white list", i.e. a list of senders classified as reliable. Enter the e-mail address newsletter@thyssenkrupp.com in this "white list".

If you would like to receive your newsletter within a company network, usually only your responsible system administrator will have the access rights required to remove a sender from the SPAM list.
