Where is ThyssenKrupp AG registered?
ThyssenKrupp AG is registered in Duisburg and Essen. In 1998 before they merged, Thyssen and Krupp announced they intended to register in Duisburg and Essen to reflect their traditional close links with these cities. A resolution to this effect was passed by the 2000 Annual General Meeting of ThyssenKrupp AG. The Corporate Headquarters is still largely based in Düsseldorf and will move into the new ThyssenKrupp Quarter in Essen in 2010.
